Chasing Demons
By Tony Allen

Night sky’s looming on the horizon, rain trickling down the trees, eventually falling to my face, rolling down my neck. I will not move to wipe its cool wetness off my skin, for if I do, I surly will be seen by the enemy; an enemy not of human nature, it’s of the oni, an ancient demon. Not just any demon, this demon is my own.

As I was sleeping one night, oh what a stormy night with howling winds, and pounding rain, I had a dream. With in this dream was darkness, emptiness of missing something, oh what a good feeling it was. The feeling was short lasted for a sharp shooting pain, rips through my side as if a sword was driven into me. Reaching for my side I can feel the blood rushing out, but as I look at my bare hand, I see a shadow moving slowly along the wall. Not to get seen in the candle light. I slowly reach under my pillow and grasp my dagger. Without hesitation and in the blink of an eye, I threw it at the shadowy figure; knocking the candle over in the process. Not knowing if I killed the shadow, my attention was drawn but the once little dancing flame, for it has transformed into a raging fire.
As the fire eats away at my home, I dart to see if I killed the shadow. Foot steps can be heard moving to the door. My eyes bolt over to the moon lit door way, I see me, but not it’s not me. The eyes glow red with rage and the fire of hate. Under my breath I say, “I have let evil out into the world.”
Rain still drizzling down to my emotionless face, I grasp my bow, for a figure moves along the forest floor. I wait to see if it’s my demon. A moment passes no more sign of the figure. “SNAP!” A twig breaks behind me; I see nothing but the back of a fist. It flings me out of the trees onto a muddy field. As I slowly get up I can see those eyes, oh those eyes. Its him, he’s coming towards me the trees around him catch ablaze. Making this muddy patch of open land into a arena. I look down at where I just was, my bow was broken in half. Backing father away from the demon it begins to charge. It began to yell an old chant I was taught as a child; I draw my sword as well. Steel batters against steel the battle goes on for a very short time. Blood is now rushing down my arms and down the side of my face. One more blow was struck not by me but by the enemy, knocking me down on the muddy ground. As the demon bends down it begins to speak” you know who I am, you let me out into this world. But this causes you no pain and I can’t stand this. So I will reclaim my throne in you soul.” As his last word fall out of his mouth, the rip in my side was re-opened and the horrid demon forced his way into my soul once again.

Okay first off this is very good. But for god sakes use spell check or learn to fucking spell... Here I took the liberty of correcting your spelling errors...
